John Richards

John Richards is an Associate within the Real Estate Investment team at Canyon. Mr. Richards joined Canyon in 2022 and primarily focuses on the acquisition and asset management of equity investments in the Canyon Catalyst Fund, a CalPERS separate account focused on the real estate emerging manager space. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Richards worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Richards is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara (B.A., Economics and Accounting) and of the UCLA Anderson School of Management (M.B.A., Real Estate).
