Matt Mullarkey is a Managing Director within the Client Relations and Business Development team at Canyon. Mr. Mullarkey joined Canyon in 2021 and primarily focuses on maintaining and developing investor relationships with U.S. public pensions. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Mullarkey worked at Aksia LLC where he was Co-Head of Advisory Americas. Previously, Mr. Mullarkey was an Investment Officer at New York State Common Retirement Fund. Mr. Mullarkey began his career in government and public affairs working at federal, state, and municipal institutions. Mr. Mullarkey is a graduate of The State University of New York at Albany (B.A., History) and New York University, Wagner School (M.B.A., Urban Planning).
